About

Welcome to the Colloquy 3.0, the flagship event of our Cyber Security Department, brought to you in collaboration with CyberPeace. This year, we are thrilled to launch the Deepfake Discovery Global Hackathon, a pioneering initiative designed to unite the brightest minds in the field of cyber security, artificial intelligence, and digital ethics.

Our goal is to address one of the most pressing challenges in the digital age the proliferation of deepfake technology. As manipulated digital content becomes increasingly indistinguishable from authentic material, the need for advanced detection solutions has never been more critical. This hackathon is a call to action for innovators and problem-solvers to contribute to the resilience of digital trust and integrity across various media, including audio, video, images, and text.

Participants will have the unique opportunity to see their groundbreaking models featured on TrustTrace, with individual acknowledgment in our Contributions section, underscoring their pivotal role in shaping the future of digital security.

Schedule

Phase 1

This initial phase invites innovators globally to submit their pioneering ideas and prototype models for deepfake detection via our dedicated online platform. The focus is on harnessing creativity and technical prowess to propose solutions that can effectively distinguish between authentic and manipulated digital content. Submissions should detail the proposed solution's approach, the technology stack employed, anticipated challenges, and the potential impact on enhancing digital media integrity.

Phase 2

Following the submission phase, our expert panel will undertake a comprehensive review of all entries. This period is not just evaluative but also formative, as each participant will receive tailored feedback aimed at refining and strengthening their proposals. This interactive process ensures that all participants can benefit from expert insights, improving their models for the heightened competition in the final round.

Phase 3

Finalists will have this day to incorporate the feedback received during the review period and finalize their presentations. The hybrid format allows participants to choose between presenting in-person at the designated venue or virtually, ensuring wide accessibility and participation.

The climax of the hackathon features a series of presentations by the finalists, delivered to a distinguished panel of judges and an audience both on-site and online. This hybrid approach ensures a broader impact and inclusivity, allowing for a diverse array of innovative solutions to be showcased. The day will conclude with an awards ceremony, celebrating the most outstanding contributions. Selected top models will be recognized and considered for inclusion on TrustTrace.net.in, with appropriate credit given to their creators in the Contributions section, marking their indelible impact on the field of digital security.
